About the Album:
A Conversation Piece is Réa Beaumont’s newest solo release recorded at CBC’s Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto.  The recording features Maurice Ravel’s Impressionist masterpiece Miroirs and works by Canada’s most influential composers, including R. Murray Schafer’s Polytonality,  John Weinzweig’s *Suite No. 2, *Netscapes, and Jean Coulthard’s Threnody, plus Réa’s own composition *Shattered Ice.
